Synopsis
follows a baseball scout in charge of a Florida training camp where aspiring ballplayers annually get a two-week tryout. The aspirants include the son of a Polish immigrant who defies his father to secretly pursue a baseball, rather than a legal, career. The baseball scout’s niece comes down from the home office in New York and is attracted to the quiet ballplayer of Polish ancestry.
