Synopsis
follows a slum kid from paper boy to light-weight boxer with “lucky” right-handed punches. In a last-minute mismatch, the boxer unintentionally kills his opponent in the ring. Dubbed “Killer McCoy” by the media, he wanders aimlessly, returns to boxing with the help of a shady gambler, falls in love with the gambler’s daughter, contends with a drunken, selfish father, and uses his right-handed power punch to win three bouts in a row.
