follows two rival reporters who fight off spies while vying to interview a munitions tycoon. The two rivals eventually fall in love, after they’re implicated, then cleared, of a plot to kill the arms baron. The munitions dealer also falls in love and decides to trade in less lethal products.
is about a young Irish girl, who sees leprechauns and who melts the hearts of three crusty old bachelors. Because the girl’s grandfather long ago cursed the bachelors, the men have attained success at the expense of personal happiness. The girl’s faith in the unexplained, however, changes the men’s propensity for happiness.

The two would-be thieves feel frustrated because police anticipate their every move. Later, the two fall in love. Eventually, the female thief admits she is a detective hired by an insurance company to impede the male’s thievery. She pleads with her partner-lover to give up crime.
is set in a Missouri farming community beset by North-South tension in the days after the Civil War. A stranger comes to town, stays with a South-sympathizing family, helps out with farming tasks, and falls in love with the daughter. follows a water-phobic Lassie roaming the Scottish highlands as well as a kindly doctor trying to cure the collie of aquaphobia by exposing her to a roaring river. The doctor also uses the latest advancement—chloroform—to anesthetize a young man, operate on him at home and save his life. The doctor then sends this young man to medical school in Edinburgh so he may eventually take over the Scottish doctor’s practice. When the doctor lays dying on the far side of a river, Lassie and rescuers must decide whether to cross the swirling, icy water.
is about two female rookie cops, bored with desk jobs and eager to hit the streets. They bend the rules and get their wish. The pair stop a suicide attempt and then investigate the matter, thereby proving themselves.
