Bargain Madness

is a humorous look at women battling for bargains in a department store. Sally and Dorothy are neighbors. Dorothy is excited about a big sale at a downtown clothing store, but Sally isn’t interested. Dorothy suffers mishaps taking the bus downtown, but arrives to see Sally already there. The doors open, the crowd pushes in and the two neighbors are at odds again and again.

Things We Can Do Without

is a specialty short film produced and narrated by Pete Smith, a publicist and short subject filmmaker, who earned 14 Academy Award nominations and two “Best Live Action Short Film” Academy Awards. In “Things We Can Do Without,” a fellow named Dave demonstrates a variety of household items and shows pieces of furniture, which while modern are much more trouble than the progress is worth.
